As you saw before Alexis had her 5 year birthday pictures done. Well our day started out with getting her hair done at the mall in a store called Sweet and Sassy. Then off to get pictures done. While we waited for the to print the pictures, I took Alexis back to the mall to have some lunch. Then off to find the candy store. While we were walking around the Sweet and Sassy employees told us that they were giving away free Limo rides today around the mall. Alexis really wanted to go, so off we went. I took some pictures with my phone since I actually didn't have my camera with me. :) She thought it was so cool. Once we got back we found the candy store and a shore store for me. lol Then back to the house. Alexis and I had such a wonderful afternoon together. What a difference it makes to have only one child at a time.

Saturday night I went dancing with some girl friends and had a blast. I could have danced all night, except my friends that were with me wore shoes that hurt their feet so we were home by 1:30 am.
Sunday was Fathers Day. Rodney had to cut the lawn (not much fun for him), but the girls gave him their little gifts they made at school. After naps we went to Nelda's to swim at the Beach Club by their house and then back to the house for a Fajita Dinner. Rodney didn't care to be in the sun again that day so Nelda and I took the girls. But first to give Rodney his Fathers day gift. A set of golf clubs. I think he was very surprised that I would get those for him since I have complained in the past about how much it costs to play and how much time you are gone to play. But I decided to do a very non-selfish thing and get them for him especially after all the money and time he has let me spend scrapbooking.
the Beach club was really cool. They had a splash play area, sand to play in and the water to swim in. the water is pretty shallow so it was quite warm, but over all the girls just loved it. It is about as close as we are going to get to a beach this year. I am hoping we can go back a few more times before summer is over.
Here are some pictures of our day, enjoy...
