Pictures Pictures and more pictures

Abby's last year of preschool. She has decided to grow her bangs out like her sister so we have to put them back in a clip every day. In the 8x10 picture you can see the small spit bubble coming out of her teeth. LOL OH well, I'm not getting retakes for that. :)

My 1st grader is such a doll. I love the green background this year. And of course as always her picture is just perfect.

And here is Abby's cheerleading picture. It has been quite a season with all the rain. We have had so many games canceled. Abby has a very hard time paying attention. She drives me nuts at practice and the games. UGH! But she is as adorable as ever.

It's been a while

Well it has been quite a while since I have last posted. Life seems to be even more busy since I have been home with the girls. Abby and I stay very busy and the house is actually picked up on most days. Then we have girl scouts, soccer and cheerleading. Below are some pictures and a few videos. Sometimes Abby does great at cheerleading and sometimes she doesn't stay focused. I guess that probably also has something to do with the fact that she is 4. She does know all her cheers so that is great. Alexis is loving soccer. We have had so much rain that there have been so many canceled games that she really hasn't had time to condition herself to running that she gets very tired very fast. Enjoy the pictures and I hope to update more soon.

4th of July Celebration:

Happy 4th of July. Here is the cake I made and worked on all morning to take to the BBQ. I think it turned out adorable. If anyone needs a cake in the future let me know. I need the practice.

We had a great 4th! We got to celebrate at my friend Stacie's new house. The girls love the fact that they have a pool and stairs. They wish we had the same. LOL We had a BBQ, swam all day and met some great new people. Everyone had a blast. I got some cute video's of the girls that I will try and post later, but here are the pictures for now. We didn't stay for fireworks because I had been sick the whole week and really needed to go home and rest after being in the sun all day. Enjoy the pictures.

Locks of Love Girls

so the girls have been asking for a while to get their hair cut. Rodney has always been against it and I just wasn't sure if I wanted to do it. Well Abby's hair was so thick and long that it was just too much for this Texas heat so we decided that if we were going to cut it we would donate it to Locks of Love. You need 10 inches to donate to them. We cut 10 on Abby but Alexis did not have that much to cut. Until one of the girls at the salon said that Panteen takes hair donations of 8 inches. Sure enough they do. (wish I would have known that before I cut 10 off Abby) So we cut 8 off Alexis. Both girls LOVE their new hair cuts and are so excited that they can brush and wash their own hair now. this will be nice for me once they get the hang of it. Anyway, just wanted to share their new do's....
