Cabo Trip with Mom

The vacation with mom was amazing. We had such a good time. Did lots of relaxing and lots of fun activities and all for a really good price. Mom was invited to a owners breakfast (basically to try and sell her an upgrade), but out of it we got a really good free breakfast and a ton of activities for a really good price. We spent the week relaxing on the beach or at the pool. Then for our activities we went whale watching on a Catamaran and got to see whales jumping out of the water. We were also able to see them many times from the beach at the resort. Too Cool! It was pretty cold that morning, but still an amazing experience. The crew on the boat was also a ton of fun. Then off to have lunch on the beach and then parasailing. So much fun, but not nearly long enough. it really feels like floating on air. You don't feel yourself moving at all. After that we went kayaking across the bay to Lovers Beach. Talk about a workout. On the way we saw pelican rock and all the sea lions sunning. Boy they were stinky. LOL

The next day we went horseback riding on the beach. Very cool, but man was my horse bouncy. My legs were so sore just after an hour of riding. I was afraid to go to fast in the event that the horse would trip and fall from the sand. Then we went on a sunset cruise on a pirate ship. It got pretty cold once the sun went down, but the staff on the boat was so much fun. They put on a little show. I had to get on stage and try and make a sword out of a balloon (which resembled nothing like a sword), but I still won. LOL Then we had to sing a song in front of everyone. I felt like a complete idiot. LOL After the sunset cruise, mom and I had a wonderful dinner at the marina and even got some live entertainment with a fire juggler.

Finally we did some shopping in downtown Cabo San Lucas.

The day we were ready to come home, we got to the airport to find out our flight had been canceled. So they put us up for a night at the Crown Plaza All Inclusive. I have to say our resort was way better. Now that I am spoiled, other places are going to look like crap. LOL

This trip was so wonderful to share with my mom. I hope to do another one soon. Not so sure if Rodney would like that though.
He however did wonderful with the girls for the week. He got Abby all set up for Soccer, got all her gear, got her to practice and to her game. Even got some great pictures of her playing. Now I just need to get them posted. He is such a great dad and husband.
